Saving One by One until there are None.
Canine Carroll Rescue

Our Story
Canine Carroll Rescue is a non-profit organization committed to saving and improving the lives of dogs and cats. Our organization was founded in the 80's by Susan Carroll. Susan started this little rescue out of her house with just herself behind the wheel. Over the years she single handedly saved over 3,500 animals. Susan had a way with them and knew exactly what each needed. In 2004 she met Chelsea and an instant friendship grew. They had a shared love of saving animals . Together they grew this little rescue and continued with the goal of getting to know each foster before placing them into their forever homes. Susan left us too soon on December 23rd 2024 after a battle with cancer. She is missed and loved every day. Her legacy lives on in Chelsea and her resolve to continue saving the animals.
All of our foster animals are in loving homes where we can learn about them while healing any physical or emotional wounds they may have. We do not have a shelter and we do not long-term board them. They become part of our family while waiting for their own. We specialize in neonatal care for kittens and puppies. We have incubators and fosters with special skills to care for them.
We strive to provide medical care, stability, and love to every animal that comes through our doors.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every pet is loved, cared for, and has a place to call home. We would love to see a world were rescue is no longer needed thanks to responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter programs, and ethical breeding.
